In addition to the regular weekend services and the other ministries offered at VFC: we also offer a variety of things specifically designed for people between 18-24 years of age. Whether it's the weekly Threshold meeting, outreach events and get-togethers or the EPIC Commission discipleship program, there is something for every young adult!

Threshold College Ministry

Relevant. Passionate. Authentic. Wear your jeans, bring a friend and be refreshed. Every 1st Thursday night of the month a mix of 18-24 year olds just like you, gather to start the month off right, get refreshed and make genuine friendships! Maybe you're not sure about this whole "church thing," but you're willing to give it a try. Maybe life is going great, but you feel like there is something more. Maybe you're searching for purpose in life or you just want some new friends. Whatever it may be, we invite you to take this journey with us. The atmosphere is relaxed, the music is heartfelt, the message is relevant and the people are authentic.

EPIC Commission Discipleship Program

Have you ever wanted to chase after God recklessly, without restraints?

EPIC Commission is a two-year discipleship program for 18-24 year olds that empowers students to be the leaders and world changers of this generation. EC is a mix of many things including Bible classes, mentorship, spiritual growth, and internship.Two tracks are available to accommodate both the full-time college student and the student who either wants to work full-time or gain more ministry experience. EC is two years set apart to chase after God unrestrained and experience ultimate life change.

EC students experience genuine friendships and make lifelong memories while living together in EC student housing. Every week students pray together, attend Bible classes together, intern and get hands-on ministry experience at the church together, live together, serve together, and grow in their faith together.

At the end of two years, EC students in the college track will not only have earned their associates degree, but they will have also experienced over 192 hours of heartfelt prayer, 384 hours of hands-on ministry training, and 186 hours of Bible classes. Additionally, they will have experienced numerous hours of leadership training, practical life lesson classes, mentorship sessions, and two mission trips. EC graduates are strong men and women of God, equipped to launch into God's plan for their life and to mark their generation for Christ.
